East Riding of Yorkshire is home to popular tourist points, Beverley Minster, Flamborough Head, Yorkshire Wolds, Humber Bridge and the coastal resorts of Bridlington, Hornsea and Withernsea. The area is popular for walkers and motorcyclists.
We like the route from Beverley to Helmsley in North Yorkshire. Take the B1248 north out of Beverley and head towards Malton, then the B1257 to Helmsley. A popular route in the Summer.
If you want a more coastal route, we suggest taking the A1033 from Hull towards Patrington (detour off to Easington if you want to go to the full point). Head finally towards Withernsea and take the B1242 through Aldbrough, Hornsea (stop for a cuppa) Then continue along the B1242 and join the A165 to Bridlington then head for Flamborough Head.
A shorter route, ideal for a quick blast, Take the A1034 from Market Weighton, then the B1230 towards Beverley, Double Back out of Beverley, back towards Market Weighton on the A1079.
