Just because you have a fast bike it doesn't mean that you are exempt from the National Speed Limits for the Road you are on.
A round sign red and white with a 30 on it, means 30mph - there are reasons for speed limits. Not just for other peoples safety - but for your own. Dangerous riding is illegal in any place that is classed as a public highway (which includes back lanes and alleys which are not privately owned). Whilst you may be feeling totally safe and see no risk - those friendly policeman are not likely to agree with you. If you don't want to draw attention to yourself then avoid things like wheelies, stoppies and excess revving of your engine in public places, large towns and small villages is only going to be classed as a public disturbance. Performing Wheelies on public roads can be classed as dangerous driving (or riding). Be careful with stoppies too if there is car up close behind you. If you get caught you are very likely to be pulled, be given a producer or be fined, or worse points on your license. Whilst burn-outs are probably not seen as a hazard to motorcyclists, the cloud of smoke may be classed as such to road users. Getting your knee down may be seen to be a part of normal riding (at least it is with a lot of those I know !!) It is, and has been, a offence and has been seen as dangerous riding, and you may get a producer, fine or points. If you are on the public highway you need to be safe, you need to remember that car drivers are some what oblivious to motorcycles and pull out because they cant always seem to judge speed very well. Unless they are a motorcyclist themselves they will not appreciate your riding style. If you want to keep your licence, and if you want to keep it clean. Keep your antics for either very quiet places or private roads, track days and private areas. BTW - Wearing a crash helmet on the UK roads is a legal requirement for both rider and pillion.
